Celine Readies Spate Of Releases

A new Celine Dion video hits stores Dec. 1 in the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
Billboard Bulletin reports that "Live In Memphis," on Sony's 550 label, was
recorded in August 1997; it features performances of tracks in English and
French, including a version of the Beatles' "Twist And Shout."

These are busy times for Dion, who, in addition to her current worldwide tour,
can be found on upcoming U.S. releases from R. Kelly, George Martin, Bee Gees,
Paul Anka, and Luciano Pavarotti, as well as VH1's "Divas Live" package and
the current "Back To Titanic" soundtrack. Her French-language album "S'il
Suffisait D'aimer" is the new No. 1 in Canada, France, Switzerland, and
Belgium and is slated for U.S. release Oct. 13 on 550. A Christmas album,
"These Are Special Times," will be released in November on Sony labels
worldwide.
