Starring the emerging 'brat pack' for the next millenium-- Liesel Matthews ("A Little Princess," "Air Force One"), Blake Heron ("Shiloh"), Adam LaVorgna ("Beautician ? The Beast") ? Tony Denman ("Fargo"), author Martin Schenk (A Small Dark Place) makes his directorial debut with his semi-autobiographical screenplay that has been referred to as a darker "Stand By Me." Brent ? Tobi Haleen serve as Executive Producers on the film that was shot on location around Portland, Oregon, and wrapped over the weekend. The story follows four teens in a small town whose parents seem too busy with their own lives to pay them much attention. School doesn't hold their interest and civilization seems to be encroaching upon their sacred wooded turf. Productions. Independently financed so that they can have 100% creative
control during production, they are fully confident in the vision of first-time
director, Martin Schenk, who will paint a picture of angst in today's teens.
In addition, the movie showcases the emerging talent of four teen
actors who are making the transition themselves from childhood into adulthood
as seen by the casting of Liesel Matthews who played the little princess
in "A Little Princess," Blake Heron who was in "Shiloh," Adam LaVorgna
of "Beautician And The Beast" and Tony Denman who played the son
